In order to prevent misunderstandings and head off potential conflicts, here is the policy for this blog. It certainly is subject to change at my discretion as I learn and grow, but I don’t think I’ll get into any more micro managing than this blurb.

Blog raison d’etre
My primary goal is to encourage and promote other bloggers. This blog is for my personal enjoyment. It is a space to keep my writing skills sharp. I have opinions that will differ from others, and I will assume we are adult enough to deal with them with a relative degree of maturity.

Posts & Links
Blogging is an opportunity to explore what interests me. What interests me is helping westerners such as myself develop a worldview. I will make every attempt to credit my links. If I make a mistake, I will make an effort to correct it. I will be less inclined to do so if my mistake is pointed out in a derogatory manner. Respect will be offered and reciprocated. Spelling and editing bloopers will occur and honest attempts will be made to correct them.

Spam
If any Spam bots pick up your URL, notify me with proof, and I’ll sic my blog technicians on it. It’s unlikely since my administrator runs a pretty tight ship, but just in case, eh?

Comments and Email
I thrive on email and comments; my readers and fellow bloggers enrich my blog life. I reserve the right to delete any comments that are abusive to others or to me. If after a warning to play nice, the commenter is unable or unwilling to comply, he or she will be blocked. Threats will be taken seriously and the ISP provider will be notified.
I will make every effort to respond promptly and respectfully to email. I’m merely human, and I do leave this computer by itself to cool down occasionally. Emails to this blog are fair game for posting, but I will certainly honour requests for privacy.

I do not accept any funding from any organization, any work I do away from this blog is for charities, and I do not accept payment from them. This blog will remain ad-free. Economic benefit or influence is not why I blog.
