The only country in Africa that seems to be cutting the alarming rate of AIDS/HIV infections is Uganda. As condoms and safe sex continue to be touted as the answer to the pandemic, Uganda inlisted the help of religious organizations in the early 90’s.

Christian churches in Jerusalem are pleading with the Israeli government to ease curfews in the West Bank. This isn’t exactly news, right? Wrong.
An Israeli government spokesman says it is the first time that some leaders have specifically rejected violence. I have no doubt there is a faithful, tiny remnant of believers in Palestine, but if past church leadership rhetoric is an indicator, believers have not been taught truths.
