The title comes from a post by Ken Layne. I’m not going to use this
word *** though anyone who has read a war blogger knows what it is. I don’t need to be crass.
Joshua Claybourn has received an email from Christian Top 1000. I don’t know if
he quoted it in part or in whole in the comments section below. Here is part of what he said in my comments section.
“Joshua, I don’t mean to rub it in, but wanted to let you know that your campaign against us resulted in manynew sites. I guess those who agree with us had a more effective campaign as for the first time ever more than 400 sites
appear in the listing (412 to be exact as of 11:00PM ET). You meant it for evil, God meant it for good.”
That’s great they got more signups, no one would begrudge them that. The net is big enough for everyone. But, it doesn’t
take a psychologist to read the meaning. Or a fisking.
Ok bloggers let’s get to work. How many sites have asked to be removed but are still on the Top 1000? How many sites
signed up because of the inquiries by Pray Naked Experience and Joshua Claybourn? What do people agree or disagree with
exactly?
I’m not interested in taking ’sides’. I honestly don’t have a full opinion yet. All the information isn’t in. Did Pray
Naked Experience get a final response? Are numbers being misrepresented here? I didn’t perceive Joshua Claybourn and Pray Naked as hostile. Joshua
took responsibility for his recommendation when a blogger got rejected. Pray Naked Experience explained his hurt and gave a
reasoned response to their question. That is blogging. There may well be an email when he gets back. What does that scripture
have to do with an inquiry from anyone?
There may well be little or no room for dialogue here. I am genuinely saddened to see that email.
Read all the posts. Get the facts. Make up your own mind. I haven’t heard back on my inquiry yet. I’ll keep you posted.
