JesusJournal.com has posted another article and

decided to help let bloggers know by commenting at How Now

Brown Pau. I wouldn’t say Mr. Hughes has a blog.

He writes articles.

This article takes a step past “Christian Weblogging:A Manifesto” and is

called Focus on Links and Libel. I suspect it

has been written because bloggers are taking

exception to being linked without permission, or not

being able to unlink.

Dean Peters at blogs4God.com has tried to address Mr. Hughes

‘concerns’ and ‘feelings’ about ‘negative’ bloggers.

I know he is pursuing peace with this man while

standing by the blogs4God FAQ. I have seen bloggers ask to have the

spam stopped. I have seen bloggers ask to have thier

link removed. I have seen them blog about it. It is

all documented here on my blog. I followed this from

the first blogger who ran into difficulty

communicating with Mr. Hughes. The Jesus bloggers are

a self-policing, intelligent bunch. The concerns are

in Mr. Hughes mind.

So, asking to not be spammed is dissent.

So, asking to have a link removed you did not put

there is dissent.

Mentioning JesusJournal.com on your blog could possibly get you sued if Mr.

Hughe’s feelings are hurt. You can’t even get

excommunicated or kicked outta his ‘church.’

I admire and support Dean Peter’s peace efforts.
This is my blog. I am not speaking as a

moderator.

I am angry about these pronouncements Mr. Hughes

deems so damn important. I know every blogger that

came toblogs4God from Martin’sblog. I’ve read them. Linked to them. I’ve

corresponded with many of them. I’m getting to know

our new bloggers. I am angry people were spammed. I

am angry about the content and tone of the emails

bloggers have received from Mr. Hughes. I am angry

bloggers are linked at this commercial site

without permission and cannot ask for removal. I am

grieved. I am going to keep doing what I have been

doing. I will keep bloggers informed. I will post. I

will speak out.

It is Mr. Donald L. Hughes teapot and his

tempest?

difference between fact and opinion and links to an

international article (which blogs4God bloggers

are) on libel.
The Limey Brit noticed Instapundit’s link to Joshua Claybourn about Donald L.

How Now Brown Pau declares closure.
Connexions: doesn’t much

like the commercial exploitation of blogs.

Mute Troubadour says A Manifesto is like building a

There is also a post about a portal of blogs as a business model.
