To North Americans the British and thier kin can sometimes be the masters of understatement. This morning I read a news
piece about gales in the UK. Those gales turned out to be a very bad storm that killed several people, knocked out power to
many areas of the UK and Europe and has generally wrecked havoc, causing considerable disruption and damage.
I also noted that connexions.net was down. I’m not the only one who has
noticed that, and I have just received an email from Rev. Richard Hall (or is he The Right Rev?) At least he can send email
at the moment, but he is still a blogger without his blog.
Connexions.net is doing their very best to resume service, but so far have not been able to raise a response from their web
host. Given that most of us on this side of the pond would consider 110kmh a small hurricane, I’m glad to hear Richard weathered the storm, and we understand the difficulties in getting the site back up.
Will keep you posted.
