Since weekends tend to be a tad slow in blog land, I have a question for bloggers.

What is the worst blogging mistake you have made?

In the interests of fair disclosure, I’ve made legions of tech and typo mistakes. (Those count when you put your comment in)
My second biggest mistake as I see it? I really regret linking up to a site dealing with the on going collision of a certain rock stars face and plastic surgery, simply because the resulting search mess in my log shakes my faith in human nature, and is almost as messy as the above mentioned surgery. I can hope that people looking for that particular post stick around or leap blog looking for more edifying things, but I doubt that is the case.

My biggest blogging mistake is simple and on-going. It is a mistake of omission, not commission. I regret not paying better attention when I am linked by others, and regret not taking the time and effort to say a personal thank you when warrented. I’d like to try to encourage newbies or veterans in their own blogging more often.
