Hurricane force winds, snow, sleet, and freezing rain wholloped the East Coast of Canada last night and will continue to do so today.
Over 100 thousand people were left without power, and crews have been called in to Nova Scotia from Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick to help out. Halifax was hardest hit.

The litigious nature of Scientology is well known. The latest legal attack is against a blogger, Diana Hsieh. Her story is here at Light-of-Reason.
The blogger archive bug prevents a perma link, it is a post on Wednesday, November 6th.

So far the most sensible thing I’ve seen on the Ossuary is Lorna Dueck’s piece in the Globe and Mail today. For those of you not familar with her, she is a co-host of 100 Huntley Street, a Canadian religious program. She is also, in my humble estimation, a top researcher and solid investigative journalist.
