There have been generous responses to the new blog look. You’ll never convince me that blogging isn’t a community endeavor and a common passion.
Here are a few emails of the I received.
Colby Cosh:
The design is lovely. I hope you can get it to work reliably with IE
browsers because there basically aren’t any other kind these days. If I have
to hire somebody to code with CSS, there’s really no bloody point to it, now
is there?
See. Bloody isn’t used in Canada the same way as it is in the Eastern US.
Looks great! A bit of Canadien pride, eh?

Hmm. A Montreal hockey fan perhaps?
Barrabas:
hey, Your site’s looking beautiful, wow. I would definitely use that designer if I didn’t have one for free.
I like that red maple leaf in your header, I spent most of my childhood playing hockey, so I’m part Canadian I guess. Glad to have you back, I really like the red leaf too, and playing hockey as a kid.
Like the new site! I was hoping to do a bit of a redesign myself, but till I get back to a regular posting schedule…
Yeah, building state of the art aggregators tends to put a dent in blog postings and redesigns.
looking back….looking forward:
Just wanted to say, “Welcome back”… and your blog is gorgeous!
This from a Northern Canadian, born and bred, who knows how gorgeous the north is.
Looks fine on MSIE 5.0, just fine! Congrats. Another labor pain past, and welcome back to the ol’ saddle. Does look a bit looney. (I think. That IS a loon, right? And would you care to do me your loon call? Come on. Don’t be shy).
Bet you could give us a well informed lesson on the common loon and imitate it’s calls too, Fred.
Jordon Cooper:
Bene Diction blogs again
With a great looking new redesign by Rachel Cunliffe. I remember reading in Rachel’s blog about her wondering if she could make a living designing sites. By looking at Bene’s new blog, I would think she can. One of the better looking and creative blog designs I have seen in a while. Then again it may just be the Canadiana feel to it.
Canadiana can be a good thing eh?
It looks wonderful! And inspiring: I’m going to be moving to a new server, and upgrading to MT2.5. Then I hope to do some work on Redwood Dragon’s look. Maybe I should hire Rachel!
Can’t wait for your new look, either!
Thunderstruck
Terrific site. I am looking forward to exploring it even further. Steve
Explore on!
I think you should be very happy (and proud). It looks great. Congratulations.
This doesn’t cover the great comments left here on Bene Diction Blogs On this past weekend, and is just a sampling of the emails. Thank you everyone.
