There have been generous responses to the new blog look. You’ll never convince me that blogging isn’t a community endeavor and a common passion.
Here are a few emails of the I received.

Colby Cosh:
The design is lovely. I hope you can get it to work reliably with IE
browsers because there basically aren’t any other kind these days. If I have
to hire somebody to code with CSS, there’s really no bloody point to it, now
is there?

See. Bloody isn’t used in Canada the same way as it is in the Eastern US.

Justin Beasley:

Looks great! A bit of Canadien pride, eh?

Hmm. A Montreal hockey fan perhaps?

hey, Your site’s looking beautiful, wow. I would definitely use that designer if I didn’t have one for free. I like that red maple leaf in your header, I spent most of my childhood playing hockey, so I’m part Canadian I guess. Glad to have you back, I really like the red leaf too, and playing hockey as a kid.

Ranting and Roaring:

Like the new site! I was hoping to do a bit of a redesign myself, but till I get back to a regular posting schedule…

Yeah, building state of the art aggregators tends to put a dent in blog postings and redesigns.

Bet you could give us a well informed lesson on the common loon and imitate it’s calls too, Fred.

Bene Diction blogs again
With a great looking new redesign by Rachel Cunliffe. I remember reading in Rachel’s blog about her wondering if she could make a living designing sites. By looking at Bene’s new blog, I would think she can. One of the better looking and creative blog designs I have seen in a while. Then again it may just be the Canadiana feel to it.

Canadiana can be a good thing eh?

Redwood Dragon:

It looks wonderful! And inspiring: I’m going to be moving to a new server, and upgrading to MT2.5. Then I hope to do some work on Redwood Dragon’s look. Maybe I should hire Rachel!
