I found a fun article over at IdeaJoy. It’s about writing and
editing. Nope, it isn’t boring; every blogger might want to have a look. The writer decides to trim his own work, after finding out there are way, way too many words. The editor would have been happy to do it for him. Editors
are valuable, unappreciated people sometimes, but every good writer knows the need for one. The title isn’t the greatest; it’s called Surgery without
Pain. Editing your own work can be painful.

However, this writer, in doing his own edit, learns a few valuable things in the process.
