Missed this article in the Globe and Mail about blogging. (thanks to Colby Cosh for the heads up)
There are a couple of things I disagree with, such as this statement about Flit.
No newspaper editor or TV producer would ever allow Mr. Rolston’s work near a general reader or viewer, for fear of taxing or boring them.
I read it regularly. It is telling that the statement about Where is Raed….’now worringly sporadic,’ shows a reporter who reads blogs. And, he doesn’t just link up to the usual suspects.
Ar arr arrr.
“eye glazing egomania.”
Yeah some of it it is, and it’s addictive to the bloggers and the readers because it is interactive.
Iraq
While I was reading about 2 journalists missing in Iraq, this headline came up….what nightmares are made of in war or peace….
U.S. soldiers fire into van carrying 13 women and children after it fails to stop at checkpoint, Central Command says. Seven killed, two wounded. Details to come.
SARS
Bene Diction Blogs On is the top blog search for SARS Canada.
I wondered why I was getting all those government hits.
New Zealand has issued a health alert. SARS is now a notifiable disease as hundreds of rugby fans return home from Hong Kong today.
Australia is preparing.
