The first email I ever received as a blogger came from someone name Rachel in New Zealand. The warm and encouraging email meant more to me than I’ve been able to articulate adequately.
Our paths would cross again, and we would find ourselves working together, growing together, and going through some tough and painful stuff together.
Cre8d is celebrating her Blog Day.
Bene Diction Blogs On would not exist without the countless hours Rachel put in scrapping archives out of Google and carefully rebuilding what was taken.
Rachel is a talented web designer, a heck of a tech, a gifted writer, and a friend.
I think a Blog Day is a big deal, it’s a milestone and an accomplishment.
If you think so too, head over and say so eh?
Ivan the Crank has a clear and solid explanation of the US Memorial Day over at connexions, that helps those of us outside his country to understand the history of this significant day.
Wanderings of a Post-Modern Pilgrim’s tribute to his daughter is a reflection of change, the love of letting go and holding on, the sadness that comes with the pride of a dad. Goosebump reading. (archive bug - 25.05.03)
Whoever stopped by searching for “blogs+parents+of+teens”, I highly recommend Such Small Hands.
MereMadness is going to be a dad, and it’s a joy to read his posts as he goes through this time, like the miracle of a heartbeat.
Scandal around a governor-general can lead to a constitutional crisis.
Embattled Peter Hollingsworth has resigned, and avoided one. signposts and Shalom explain and reflect. (25.05.03)
LoL. Irene Q writes a post on the loss felt when bloggers move on. It reads like an obituary to The Gospel of Mark.
It’s like a unilateral severing of a relationship. Like they are going away, leaving me behind.
….however….there is a comment underneath that reads like a blog post. My sneaking suspicion has a bit more merit than I thought!
Jordon Cooper takes a stand against Starbucks nonsense about picture taking in their stores. If the Starbucks Corporation gives the Edmonton store a slap on the wrist, I suspect Coop would be the first one there, giving them the business. What a stupid policy.

Thanks so much for the warm words on this cool Autumn morning
To think that a journalist would call me a gifted writer is a huge huge compliment!
Many thanks for the link!
