Oh boy, am I embarrassed.

I just got scammed by an virus alert that is a hoax.

I sent out a ‘fix’ to everyone in my blog email address book.

I’ve had real viruses, but this is a first.
I did a quick check at Symantec and didn’t see it.

Within a minute or two, bloggers were back to me with the info.
Sharp bunch, thank you!

Jdbgmgr.exe file hoax

I owe a lot of people an apology, so like a group hug, here is a group apology.
Sorry about that.

I’ve done stuff like that, too! Like last year, I posted that Coca-Cola does all this bad stuff to you because it’s low in pH. It was only this year that, doing some research on my own, I found out that most of what I’d posted was untrue.

Fortunately there are a lot of folks out here that can keep us in check, AMEN!

I’ve had that same computer hoax. Crazy crazy!

While sleepily erring on the side of caution…bloggers got back to me before I sent out to the rest of my address books. Whew.
    It is crazy.

Hey, you’ve learnt now. Don’t beat yourself up. One time is excusable. We rip the limbs off offenders for the fifth emailing, so you’re OK for now. :-P
