I have a hectic weekend ahead, and unwind after busy times with games and reading.
I’m a hugh ‘breakout’ fan. It was the first console/computer game I discovered and over the years have spent many mindless hours batting balls and breaking bricks. It’s one of my ‘guilty pleasures.’
This is a new one. Four dimensional. Should drive me to distraction and wear me out.
Dreams
The battle between psychology and neuro-science regarding dreams shows no signs of letting up. Cre8d posted a particularly vivid dream, and the discussion about the meaning began. With better imaging available we know a bit more about what happens in the brain while we sleep. But the debate will continue for some time.
Published 5 years, 2 months agoThat and much more, say dream analysts, who believe there’s much to gain from examining our nightly excursions into an alternative reality. What’s more, they say, no one should underestimate the extent to which dreams can contribute to our sense of well-being.

Journey Inside My Mind: My dreams are weirder than yours
Seriously, though… When I was younger, I used to read up on dreams, their interpretations, etc. I even got a book on “Lucid Dreaming.” I haven’t read up on them much lately, however.
Take care and keep in touch!
Is the noise inside my head disturbing you?
Actually it is a bit loud Sherm…turn the volume down a bit will ya? Neat game eh?
Wasn’t it Freud who said that dreams are the product of frustrated desires in our lives and didn’t he believe that they had great meaning? I seem to remember that from Psych 101.
I used to play breakout for hours on our old TRS-80 Color Computer (CoCo) with the joysticks and all. I wish that I could find something similar that I could do on my laptop for the boring hours on call when nothing is happening but I can’t leave the bleeping hospital.
I had to turn off the game the moment it came one… I knew that I’d be caught if I didn’t/ Very cool.

Tip: the snooze alarm is pretty handy for starting your day right. Just keep asking for 5 more minutes until your epic dream starts showing signs of a happy ending. :-]
