Nooooooooooooooooo! Not again, Mark!!! Arrrgh!

The quiz tells me I’m a musical thinker, but I don’t think that’s right - I think I should be a linguistic thinker. Still, who am I to argue with the quiz??!

I didn’t really leave a “last post.” I just cancelled my account with TypePad as I had planned to quit my internet service all together. However, after I deleted my page and sent emails to my family about not being online for awhile, my internet provider, in an attempt to keep me hooked, offered me two free months to “think things over.” So I’ll be around to read emails and check out my blog friends for a few months longer. The decision to get offline was more of a financial thing than anything else. I’m trying to cut out any unneccesary expenses until after the wedding.

I’m glad to see you linked to John (Often and Then Again). John is a great writer and dear friend of mine. I was keeping up a web page when John introduced me to the “blog.” It certainly gave me a different perspective on life. He’s also a true Christian with real struggles. Very compelling reading.

The different thinker’s quiz is probably based off the research and theories of Howard Gardner. He developed the theory of multiple intelegences. The idea is pretty big in education circles, except we approach it from a “how do people learn?” standpoint.
