Every once in awhile the sun belches.
Well, the outer layer does.
The result is a sunspot cluster. The geomagnetic storm 10 times the size of earth will hit tomorrow.

It is possible that satellites and power grids could be disrupted.

Hieroglyphics
Do you wonder what your name would look like in hieroglyphics?
Wonder no more. Thanks to The University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, here is Bene Diction in pictures.
Thanks to Quantum Tea for shrinking this gif. for me.

I’ve got a necklace with the hyroglyph for alice on from when I visited Egypt (among other places) on a school trip about 12 years ago… I’d completely forgotten about it til I saw your this. Thank you!

  4. 4 Missy

I have one from a field trip to the Indianapolis Children’s Museum (way back in 4th grade) that has Missy on a princess sarcophagus. It’s filed away in the attic, actually.

Sunspots as a belch of the sun–gotta tell my science teacher dad that one. He’ll love it.

Absolutely fascinating!!!! Wow! I love my name in Hieroglyphics. It’s an eye, three feathers, a sun, and inward turning square, an extended arm, another eye, and an open hand. Interesting. You could do ALOT symbolically/metaphorically with that!

Btw, solar storms are fascinating as well. Good blog, Bene!
