Congratulations everyone!

Ganns has announced the 2003 winners of his 2nd annual blog awards.

What in Tarnation?!?! is the 2003 Blog of the Year.

Josh Claybourn finally got his nod for Most Feeding Frenzy Blog.
IreneQ, LivingRoom, Susan L. Prince, Craig Tanner, Jax etc. are definite winners. Whoo hoo!

Way to go all. Take the encouragement and grace and spread it around the blogosphere this year, eh?
Blog on!

Juxtaposition
You gotta love it. I was over at DashHouse who posted on John Dvorak’s pessimistic ‘view’ of the blogosphere.

It’s too soon to write the obituary for blogs. I do think they’ll eventually pass on, but surprisingly, I’m optimistic that they’ll be replaced by something even better. For now, I’ll just enjoy and not worry about the trends.

Then I head over to Real Live Preacher and read about his book contract. Nay-sayers can say what they will. Blogs are a great read. Occasionally even publishers think so.
Now maybe a saavy editor in the UK will notice the connexions Blog Wiki and put together a book by bloggers on blogging.

I’m jealous about the Preacher’s book deal :) He writes stuff with lots of soul, he really deserves it. I used to dream of becoming a famous author when I was a kid. Now… I don’t know :)
