She did not report the accident, but her insurance company did call us. She admited culpability, we will get a rental car and the $500.00 deductable is paid by her company as well. I admit I'm a bit sore and a bit wired. Not scared, maybe a bit too calm, and overtired. I've seen some horrible accidents and death in my job. I've travelled a great deal and have been personally involved in a few accidents. I know there can be aftereffects. I'm mostly grateful for how God created us to be aware, to react quickly and wisely and my twin and I are admitedly irritated the driver didn't care about anything except avoiding reporting this through the right channels. She didn't/couldn't acknowledge a child could have been hurt, let alone us two adults. It didn't occur to her to ask. I suspect she was a bit shocky and wasn't thinking consequences.The damage on the side of the car probably surprised her. Thanks for your prayers.
