A psychological map of the web

I tend to want to use the word ‘cool’ here.
This is quite interesting.

The physical distance indicated on a map is one thing we are familar with, but I’d never thought about how anyone could map other distances or proximities.

Here are maps of the internet, using countries and the ‘distance’ between them psychologically, economically, and in terms of war and immigration. The world is a different place looked at these ways, isn’t it? We know the internet is currently dominated by english speaking users. I think the economic map (below) does show how global a village we are. It seems to be far more ‘crowded’.

Have courage for the great sorrows, And patience for the small ones. And when you have laboriously accomplished your tasks, go to sleep in peace. God is awake.
