Canadians won’t be surprised if a May federal election is called.
Martin’s liberals are up in the polls in spite of the sponsorship scandal, the new conservative party is gaining new members, and traditionally Canadians want a government to have a mandate.

Neat word
We’re expecting thunder-snow.
Thunder-snow you say?
Yep.
We’ve had a three day thaw, it’s time for a temperature drop with rain, snow and thundershowers; hence, thunder-snow.
The sump pump is humming full tilt and the power is burping in and out.
Thunder-snow covers it.

I’ve witnessed thunder-snow twice in my life. The first time I saw it I was sure it was the end of the world. It’s a very unnerving sight.

Thunder snow is pretty awesome, so is ice fog. We had ice fog the other day, it’s a bit unnerving too - rather eerie.
