I keep forgetting that modern biblical scholarship has proven that the gospels were written hundreds of years after Jesus Christ lived and died, most likely by power-grabbing disciples who had a political ax to grind. "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched this we proclaim concerning the Word of life." 1 John 1:1 Oh, how naive of me.
