The severe weather that hit the Edmonton area moved east quickly and it’s getting time to log off and unplug the computer.
We’re expecting nearly 2 inches of rain over the next 12 hours.
I’ve been outside, the temperature dropped 10 degrees over the past couple of hours and the heat lightening is now becoming storm lightening. It has it’s own brilliant beauty, and my respect.
Storms move in quickly here. I watch animals birds and insects. When gulls flock inland, and night birds don’t sing, it’s reason to take a weather watch that is upgraded to a warning seriously. Even the spiders and mosquitoes have taken cover. They are smarter than people when it comes to reading the signs.

We’re expecting heavy lightening and high winds. Having seen a tornado touch down here a few years ago I prefer to err on the side of caution and log off. Power bars are useful things, but they don’t stop eveything.:^)
