Ever since Canadian journalist Zahra Kazemi was killed in Iran, I’ve been a bit more aware that it was important for our government and our media and us, to put pressure on the Iranian government.

I don’t know what you blog for, but I believe there are times we can use our blog to speak up. Because it is the internet, we have no idea who may hear.
There have been a couple of times I’ve used my blog to say ‘no’, or ’stop’ to someone or something bigger than myself.

This is one of those times.
A well known Iranian blogger was arrested over a year ago, and when pressure was put on he was released. He fled to Holland, where he is speaking up and speaking out. Now his father has been arrested in Iran.
Sina Motabellebi is a well known blog among Iranians. I can’t read it, but many many can. And they are sending out a call to others to speak out.
A bit of background is here.
