cre8d-design has won a NetGuide award for Best Youth Blog in New Zealand.

No small potatoes, but then again Idolblog was/is no small project.
It is evening in New Zealand as I post this, so Rachel and Regan Cunliffe (cre8d-design) are still at the awards ceremony and it the announcement just came up.

Caught between corporate heavy-handedness and competing media, Idolblog held to honesty and integrity and excellence - and became news itself. The fans and readers always came first.

As excited and honoured as Rachel and Regan must be, I can’t wait to see the fans of Idolblog cheer. They are a loyal and fun bunch, and helped make that site a phenom in New Zealand. Well done!
