I wonder if it is the nature of the medium. We bloggers take great pleasure and joy in our blogs and the interaction they bring, and every year different kinds of awards for blogs come out.
I don’t know about you, but I have blogs that are a must read…just favorites for no clear reason other than the pleasure and challenge and satifsfaction they bring me daily. A happy routine.

Non-US blogs don’t have much of a chance in the Bloggies etc,. and it is great to see blogs done by Cre8d win a top award in New Zealand. Rachel and Regan’s joint effort of Idolblog won the NetGuide 2004 award for Best Youth Site. When you aren’t a foreigner, or international, there is a different kind of meaning to the recognition of your peers.
Now it’s the Canucks turn.:^)

The 2004 Canadian blog awards are up and Bene Diction Blogs On is in good company in the Non-Political section.

If you’d like to vote you can head over once a day.
Voting ends January 15th.
Take some time if you have it, to read some Canuck blogs, there are some excellent bloggers in the eight categories that will capture and keep your attention.

Vote for your favourite Canadian Blogs.
