I have really messed up technically. Again.

A couple of years ago because of some sorry events and bad stuff going on and good advice I got a domain name for this blog which is what you come to.

However I don’t have a credit card, so it was registered by someone else who set me up on a temporary site, put some safety devices in place that were necessary because of the circumstances, while Cre8d reserrected the design and literally went into google and found as many archives as possible. Rachel pieced this blog back together and worked with the other tech on safety needs. Neither friend was ever paid for the extraodinary work they did on my behalf. HourEleven gave me hosting space without a second thought and refused to take a cent.
So many of you were patient while the change over took place.

The domain name expired in December and I wasn’t aware of that.
I know backed up the domain information twice on two different drives.

It’s gone, the computer and the drives got fried when the ISP switched over to MSN this summer - if I had these numbers on paper it is missing. That was just before the comment spam attacks.
Again, through extraodinary generousity I was given a computer.

And last year when my hosting came up and I had no way to pay for it, Cre8d put up their paypal button. Within four hours the hosting was paid for because of your generousity. This year someone stepped up and paid it without me making a plea.

Sooo…I guess I’d better blog on! Somehow.

Right now I am respectfully asking that you use the numerical to reach my blog http://benedictionblogson.com is not working.
Cre8d reconfigured so that this blog is available to you and I can post.
Email, log etc are gone for now too. And I just discovered I have screwed up my back ups.
The blog host is running, I’ll get Cre8d to reshow me back up when that’s possible.

So with the numerical you can reach BDBO.

The registration company won’t give me a renewal or the time of day without the original information - numbers of some type I guess.

I ‘m completely lost, I am not clear on how to get the info, what they need and how to pay other than a credit card. I’ll have to figure that out later, Cre8d-design is doing everything they can to help.

The reality is I may lose this domain name if I don’t get the info and my act together and they said something about repropagation taking a month or something if it isn’t very soon or it’s not the same person or…to be honest, I’m so beat it all went in one ear and out the other.

The other day I asked a friend a very odd question. It just popped out of my mouth.
“Do you think God , er, should I keep blogging?”
My friend said,
“I have to give that question back to you, only you can know what God wants for you.”
I know it is not time to quit, I am still in His Will and will keep going.
I have to rest, calm down, and stop beating myself up and figure something out.
This was my mistake and my fault this time. I thought I’d bought the domain for five years.

Some blogs have had DDOS’s lately. Real Live Preacher lost his server stuff.
Some blogs have been flooded with spam attacks like I had this summer.
We’re all in this together, eh?

This has been a long frustrating night and I know this will be an inconvience to all of you too. I am genuinely sorry about that.
I’ve had more changes and moves and weird tech stuff than Carters has pill.:^)

I’ll email as many of you as I can, if you’d just post the numerical URL for now I’d be very grateful.
Right now the thought of rebuilding the readership again, maybe losing the domain name, and reaching all of you is formidable. With my email inaccessable I’ll stop by and pick yours up or leave a comment.
One step at a time. Maybe I’ll get a sympathetic billing person at the domain company and something can be done to work around my error.

In all the nonsense this blog has gone through, you have been there, supporting, encouraging, keeping me laughing, giving me good advice and I am so grateful. This is not Bene Diction Blogs On without you.
