I didn’t join a group of bloggers called the Blogdom of God when they formed up.
I didn’t ‘join’ for a couple of reasons. Their alliance became ‘top dogs’ over at The Truth Laid Bare EcoSystem and with their enthusiam and technical skills they got themselves moved ‘up’ on the Who Links Who list. (blogs accepted at blogs4God)

I count 30 blogs and they are an interesting bunch. The Alliance reminds of the World magazine blogs. They keep basically to themselves. Of the 30, I see two that are outside the US.
The idea was conceived by Dr. Adrian Warnock in the UK. The alliance define themselves as strongly conservative and evangelical. I have to give them credit for their technical expertise and desire to stand out, but I find myself feeling a tad bit sorry for Dr. Warnock. The majority of the bloggers have a great deal to say about US politics, and it’s almost like he winds up riding herd.
So, when he had his own political/religious cause, I got the distinct impression he was on his own.

I don’t agree with this kind of protest, but I do agree with his right to do it.
The BBC ran Jerry Springer - the Opera and Dr. Warnock tried to help spearhead a protest. So did a television protest type group.
I think they played right into the hands of the shows backers. I think this protest gave what the BBC couldn’t, lot’s of publicity and bumped the viewership up 7 hundred thousand.
I have no patience with people that protest something they haven’t read or seen. It holds no weight with me, I’ve seen more than my share of it in the media. People are told to complain and so they do. Ask them what the objection is and they parrot the line. Anyone who protests in good and informed conscience certainly deserves to be heard.
This is television. Adults that protest without awareness have remotes. No one is shoving this drivel down their throats. The show bills itself for what it is, it isn’t masquarding.

But I feel kind of sorry for Dr. Warnock. At the best of times the Blogdom is US centric, it has to be to get to the top. And for some reason this issue drove that notion home.
