Darren of Living Room is blogging for 24 hours.

He has done it before. Last time he hoped to raise money so a Philippine family could have a ped-cab and earn a living. More than one family benefited because of the terrific response of his readers.

It is an axiom of this world that the worst things happen in the poorest places to people in the weakest circumstances. If you were born in the West, you’ve won the only lottery that really counts from the very first moment you take air. - Rex Murphy -CBC - December 28th 2004

This time Darren is putting up 100 posts to raise money for tsunami victims.
His charity of choice is here,
He also has the information up on how the money raised will be used.
Here is how you can donate.

Blogging for 24 hours is no small effort. And towards the end of the 24 hours the posts get, er, interesting. It is early Thursday in Australia and he has begun.

It is putting one’s effort where one’s words are.
And toward the end of his day and his blogathon, as the fatique sets in, it’s worth popping over just to see how wired and weird content gets. Sleep study specialists would get a kick out of this type of fundraising. We all get to watch, and help put some money where his heart and effort are.
Blog on mate!

I know you got up dreadfully early - uh oh, you are already repeating yourself. Can’t wait to see the typos.:^)
It is mid morning, mid afternoon for the most part in North America. As people get off work and settle in for the evening, let’s hope they take a minute and stop by eh?
