Three bombs went off in three areas of the Philippines today, and Abu Sayyaf has claimed responsibility. At least seven people are dead, dozens are wounded.

A bus in Manila, a motorcycle at a taxi stand in General Santos City and a bus terminal in Davao City were blown up.
Abu Sayyaf is the smallest and most radical separatist group in the Philippines.
They have been known for kidnappings and murder of Philippine nationals and foreigners. It split from the Moro National Liberation Front in 1991.

Lebanon
Reports say 9 people are dead and over 100 injured in the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri in Beruit. Hariri served five terms as PM. A Syrian group has claimed responsibility.

Iran
Initial reports say heaters are responsible for a mosque fire in Tehran. Over 200 people are injured, there are reports of about 30 dead.

Madrid
A fire in a 32 story office building Saturday is believed to have been caused by an electrical short circuit on the 21st floor. Seven people were injured, it took firefighters Saturday and Sunday to get it under control. Seven people were injured.

Baby 81
Baby 81 is a four month old boy who survived the Asian tsunami on December 26th. He has been in hospital in Sri Lanka and eight couples tried to claim him.
He is being re-united with his parents who took DNA tests to prove he is their child.
