I couldn't agree more with your computer over dependance statement. It seems like you can't talk get a real human being on the phone any more! Recently I noticed some problems on my credit card statement. So I went through the incredible pain to try to get ahold of someone with a pulse. It was nearly impossible. Yeah, there are lots of ways to destroy these buggers. The thing is, you want to destroy it, AND take your frustrations out as well. A hammer is the ultimate stress removal tool.
