One of them sufferd an indignity involving a mallet and a bodypart, but townsfolk think it was the council trying to make one of the males a tad more presentable. It stands in the middle of Luneta Park, the largest and most popular public park in the capital. Unfortunately, Lapu-Lapu is 1) half naked and 2) bears an uncanny resemblance to the official statuette of the Academy Awards.
