If you have watched any of the inquiry coverage, you have to be angered by what you saw.
I don’t think the point now, is whether it’s worse or larger than past corruptions but rather I think the Liberal party has to be removed for it’s lack of self policing. How can we trust a government that would enable so many corrupt politicians to milk the Canadian taxpayer out of so much money in the middle of a National Unity Crisis….shame on them!

I agree we should limit terms.
I’m not interested in an election yet.
Neither are 62% of other Canadians at the moment.
Which leaves me to wonder about the 38%. Party members, government employees itching for another trip to the polls?
We elected a minority government. Every month there is election chatter.
The time for anger was the AG report, if we have a June election it will merely be opportunistic.

The longer Canadians wait, the more it appears that we condone this sort of behaviour. Governments should be changed after two terms in office…no matter who they are…they seem to become corrupt. Therefore, it is time for the Liberals to go.

Worse in amount and extent than ever before. Maybe you can give dollars and the extent and do the comparison? You will see what I’m talking about. To me all I have to do is see is tens of millions and I know it is worse than before.

I need to get access to the New York Times, if the bloggers source was a member of the fourth estate, he/she is in big trouble.:^)

A minority government can be a good thing.

The amount and the extent appear much worse than any previous time under any other party. Boy I love the checks and balances down South.

From what I read though it appears what is going on now is worse in amount and prevelance. I personally think another election is approriate if what appears to be true is true.

How should corruption be handled?
Legally.

We don’t know all the details yet Doug, speculation and unverified sources aside. Three ad execs are facing criminal charges. The inquiry isn’t over til it’s over.

During the Mulroney years (Progressive Conservative) he lost about a cabinet minister a year. The current NDP government in BC has problems recently.
The Bloq also. Mismanagement and/or corruption crosses all parties federally, provincially and in municipalities.

Based on my limited knowledge, it appears the Torries are in the right (no pun intended). The corruption of the Liberal party in Canada is clearly evident and must be addressed. Being I am a non-Canadian, how should this corruption be taken care of in light of this widespread problem within the party?
