For over a year, The Revealer has been on my must read list.
It was completely unique for many reasons, but mostly because of the people involved.
I was drawn to it, as I’m sure were many others.
There are going to be changes as the Pew grant has run out.
I want to commend Pew Charitable Trusts for funding such a terrific project and I hope whatever changes are in store for this site aren’t too drastic, it has been a winning formula.
Kathyrn Joyce, who was managing editor is leaving now that the grant has run out. Whatever media organization hires her is going to get a warm, funny, organized, sharp and talented writer. Kathyrn, thank you for your kindness, I wish you well. If you ever start a blog, let me know.:^)
Jeff Sharlett has to decide how the site is going to continue now. I hope the personal touch given to queries, comments and commentary isn’t lost.
The front page ‘blog’ daily updates kept the site surprising and gave The Revealer a keen edge most god-zine style sites just don’t have.
My grandparents used to say all good things come to an end. I don’t think that is true, good things change. As for the endings at The Revealer, we’ll just have to wait and see what changes and new beginnings there will be.

Thanks, Bene. That’s really sweet, and high praise to live up to. This has always been one of my favorite stops in the God-blogosphere, and I’ll still be around reading, just more in a lurker-mode for the time being…
Thanks again, and stay in touch.
I wish I had the finances to bring them all on board with us. That said, if they ever want to hang out with us, they´d be more than willing!
