32 people have been diagnosed with the virus in Alberta since 1989. Now four cases in two weeks have health officals scrambling.
One person has died.
The virus is has no cure, 50 percent of cases are fatal. Contact with dust from mouse droppings, saliva, nests or urine causes causes flu like symptoms of fatique, fever, chills, headache, vomiting and nausea. Then the person feels better, but may have a dry cough.
Within a day or two they begin to experience respiratory failure.
