The study says athletes that wore red win more often.
Okay. So if that’s true, how come Canada doesn’t win much?

If you read the original study, you find that the “red effect” only applies when the teams are fairly evenly matched.
I don’t know much about Canadian sports, but based on your comment, I’d have to assume they’re simply not very good!
