Lifesite, a conservative Canadian blog is not happy with a depiction of the pope on a tax payer funded webpage.

Toronto artist Mike Constable contributes a cartoon to rabble.ca every two weeks.

The Catholic Civil Rights League is protesting the depiction of the current pope doing a nazi salute Heil Mary to a statue of Mary.

rabble.ca is run by Judy Rebick a Canadian feminist who headed the National Action Committee on the Status of Women in the 1990’s.

Rebick says the cartoon is satire, the Catholic Civil Rights League says no group should be ridiculed this way. Lifesite is urging people to write the Minister of the CIDA.
