Is this the alliance/blogdom of God list or aggregator?
When the Blogdom started I sent Dr. Warnock a respectful email asking to be removed.
I received an equally respectful one saying it was done.
What is my blog doing on that list?
This goes to trust.
I can understand a mistake, that may be the case here.
It is important to me that my request is treated with knowledge a human being made it.
I should have checked instead of trusting. The discussion in the post below has been informative and I appreciate it. It is how I found BDBO listed, and I thank my readers.
I know it is important to give someone the benefit of the doubt, and I’m finding that quite difficult, because this is personal.
I have a lot of respect for many of the bloggers that chose to be part of Dr. Warnock’s project, and this is not about them, it’s about me and the use of my URL for a project I asked not to be a part of.
I have taken what I think are appropriate steps, and need to walk away from this right now. I can only trust again and keep inappropriate irritation in check until I have been given an explanation.
The question remains.
How many bloggers aren’t being given or won’t be given a choice here?

That’s the aggregator and on the sidebar is the list. If you belong to just about any Christian group with an aggregator, that aggregator aggregates your group’s aggregator. And I think it’s all done with the permission of the person running the aggregator, but I’m not sure. So in order not to show up on the Blogdom of God aggregator, you’d have to remove yourself from any aggregated list of Christian bloggers.
Phew! I don’t think I’ve ever used that word so many times in one paragraph before.
And a paragraph that makes sense too!:^)
There is nothing more I can do tonight, I’ll just have to wait.
Thanks. I wasn’t quite sure what I was looking at, and didn’t want to make false accusations. Blog on!
Just making a small correction to my earlier comment. The Blogdom of God list is at the bottom of the sidebar. At the top of the sidebar is just links to various Christian aggregators.
I was unclear about the bottom list Rebecca, so thanks. That’s where I found BDBO.
I wandered around a couple of the aggregators to cool down. Truth is I don’t understand why they are supposedly a big deal, but I guess they are to the bloggers.:^)
When Adrian started the Blogdom, I told him I did not want to be on the list, and was never included. However, I am not only on this list, he has even gotten my blog’s name wrong: ireneQ • unrav
What is ‘unrav’??!?!
Good grief.
You are on it more than once Irene.:^(
I made the same request a year ago also.
BDBO was finally removed yesterday after two more emails.
I think all anyone can do is write Dr. Warnock and then follow through.
I just found I am #1376. I haven’t the time to actually read everything posted here and elsewhere, but I would like to ask what in a nutshell I should be concerned about? What is this site I am being listed on anyways?
That’s your choice Michelle, which is the point of these posts. I hope you have time to read and make your own decisions.
I promised Richard Hall I’d shut up.:^)
