Podcasting is the new toy in the blogosphere.

I wrote a podcasting 101 for Spero News recently. Apparently because of bandwidth, free podcast storing sites are feeling the pinch.
Now according to Jordon Cooper the GodCast Network is up and running with podcasts, but it is not a site you can join.

To quote Jordon: Godcast: Is there anything we can’t ghettoize?

Guess not.

Lots of religious sites use audio, particularly sermons they think we want to listen to. Some churches add sermons to their sites for their members.

Megnut has a post entitled: I finally understand pod-casting.
The software is getting easier, and it’s about taking an audio blog around to listen to on your mp3 player when you have time.

I’ve listened to 4 podcasts in four years. I wanted to hear them and two loaded off their own blogs. Richard Hall of connexions has put up posted his first podcast.
I can’t see this as a medium and new toy I’m going to get to thrilled about, although its hot in the overall blogosphere.
I’ll have to really want to hear a specific topic/interview or blogger to take the time to listen. Bloggers that have attempted pod-casting overall are finding it fun.

Well I have started too! There, however, is no expectation for you to listen. The first episode probably wouldn’t interest many people much. The second one coming up next will will be more entertaining…

I think podcasting is a cool idea… but not owning any sort of mp3 player, I’m finding it difficult to get into… When I’m at my computer, I generally don’t want to listen to podcasts… If I was able to listen on the go, I think I’d be better into the idea… but alas, I am poor and cannot afford an mp3 player.

    I don’t have an mp3 player either.
    Don’t need one.:^)

But you might find my blog entry on how to listen to a podcast helpful,
