I don’t understand how the TTLB ecosystem works since it’s upgrade.

It’s inbound uniques don’t match Technorati and it’s difficult to read the blog stats because it looks like a forum of folders.

Moot point. Sometime in the near future if a message such as: I’m a large mammal in the TTLB Ecosystem isn’t on the blog sidebar access will be restricted. I’m not a button type, so I won’t be adding it.

I prefer Technorati because it updates quickly, users don’t need a tech degree to understand it, and gives me the stats I need to get back to bloggers. It’s reasonable presence doesn’t clutter the sidebar or give out information readers aren’t interested in.

Daypop and blogdex also appear to be behind, I like that you chose to opt in however, and I’m wondering what sites are the most useful to ping. Blogdex hasn’t tracked BDBO since December.

Yeah, that’s just flat out ghetto. Something about TTLB’s alogrithm just seems borked…

I’m learning to take my TTLB status with a grain of salt. Yesterday it had me with over 1300 links and I was a mortal human. Today, I’m at something like 400 links and am a large mammal. I guess its nice being a large mammal, but, sigh, . . . I sure enjoyed being human for a day.
Anyway, makes you wonder what’s up.

    Yeah.
I’ve got no beef with The Bear, he had his ecosystem up a long time and provided a good service. The competition is really stiff and it’s understandable better services sprang up. Like Daypop he singlehandedly gave what was useful to bloggers and we owe him a debt of thanks.

But TTLB is as Nikkiana says, borked.

People have had trackback spam (can’t trace) that started when the new Blogdom list went up. It’s probably a coincidence, it’s easier just to clean it up and turn trackback off though.
