Look what you made me do

There are different reasons for suicide, one of the most common being the ‘look what you made me do suicide.’

It is most common in domestic disputes and family problems.

A 59 year old suspended Miami commissioner went to the Miami Herald office this afternoon and shot himself.

According to witnesses, just after 6 p.m., Teele held a gun to his head, and spoke calmly with a security guard. Then when police arrived, he pulled the trigger.

The Herald’s Web site says that Teele told the security guard to give a message to Herald columnist Jim DeFede. Teele reportedly said that he wanted the guard to tell DeFede to tell his wife that he loves her.

Employees of the newspaper said they heard one shot and the Herald Building was immediately evacuated.

There is still no explanation as to why Teele was in the newspaper’s building.

The former commissioner has faced a myriad of troubles over the past few years, including federal charges for money laundering and mail and wire fraud.

It is a form of suicide based in rage and revenge for real or assumed slights or harm. Some are implusive, some are planned.

Teele is in critical condition.
