I completely embarrassed myself on another blog tonight.
The poster was discussing a denomination in the US regarding divestment of assets in Isreal and the reaction to that decision on other blogs.

And he asked a good question.
And I put my foot in my mouth.
Then I took it out and put my other foot in.
A bit of embarrassment can be a step toward humility.

The great thing about the blog in question is that posters and the owner aren’t interested in winning. If they were, I’d be the key flunkie. It’s a blog that is pro-discussion, and pro-respect and patience for every person who stops by.

Yep. It’s a blog I post on as a guest as does Joel Thomas - who didn’t deserve to have me go off topic. His question is a hot topic in the US and deserves intelligent and well thought out responses. I provided neither.
But I did get a good history lesson because it isn’t about winning.

And there’s one thing I admire about you, Bene, is that you’re not afraid to admit that you’re wrong. :) We learn from our mistakes, as they say, but few would publically admit it out loud. ;)

I have my own significant talent for going off-topic.
