As a journalist (even if I do write about the fluffier side of life like movie stars and the latest designer handbag), I really feel it when one of us die in the line of duty … I realise that he’s so much braver than I am; it is odd, and a little surreal to see his words in his blogs - almost as if he’s still there, alive and speaking through the electronic words.
