Resonate Journal is online.
It’s a space to: “to talk about the Gospel and Culture in a Canadian context.”
I think it’s a journal, and maybe it’s the Free Methodists, but please don’t quote me.
I’m not quite sure what to call it.
It has what look like articles, but please don’t quote me.
There is Wayne Dyer ad on the side, but I don’t think that has anything to do with anything.

I called Resonate a blog once, and got my wrist slapped.
This is one of the best written welcome pages I’ve ever seen, but Resonate isn’t a blog or group blog.
I know there are meet ups, (people that read it get together face to face) but I think they all basically happen in Saskachewan which seems to be the god-blog capital of Canada. Definitely a net-saavy bunch in Saskachewan. Please don’t quote me.

This is the page I called a blog, and I was corrected about that. It is called soapbox.
Sort of blog?
This is a Canadian thing, and it’s a bit like French.
I don’t speak the native language well.
Er, Canadian theology? Please don’t quote me.
I thought it was a group of ministers, but apparently I was wrong about that too.:^)

Whatever it is, my limited understanding and vocabulary aside it’s online, and Canadian blogger Jordon Cooper is the publisher. That you may quote me on.

Maybe someday soon, I’ll re-read the welcome page, surf through again again and keep my mouth shut about things I don’t know about. Or take a immersion course in tech/theology Canuck language perhaps.

    Hi Bene:

Yeah, it’s hard to get your mind around Resonate, because it is a fairly new type of thing.

It’s not just Free Methodists or Saskatooners. There are quite a few of us who communicate via an e-mail list, many professions, many denominations, from all over the country. Also some gatherings that happen - they’ve taken place in quite a few cities so far.

The homepage says it’s about “facilitating conversations.” I know that sounds like promo but this time it’s true. Kind of nice to have something like this that is Canadian.

The “Soapbox” is a blog; the main page of Resonate has it linked as “Blog.” Whoever told you otherwise must be fearful of the word.

Whatever the duck is called, it looks like interesting reading.
