A 35 year old Oregon man turned himself into police after confessing online he had killed two convicted sex offenders Victor Vazquez, 68, and Hank Eisses, 49 on August 26th in Washington state.

Michael Mullen confessed to shooting both men in the head after finding their names in an online sex offender registry, going to their homes and posing as an off duty FBI agent.

Mullen told police he had been a victim of sexual abuse himself, although he hadn’t reported it at the time to his family or authorities, Setter said in court papers.

Mullen offered police a variety of motives for the killings: protecting his children, his own child abuse, a desire to give his life value by protecting the community and a recent Idaho case that focused attention on sex offenders, the documents said.

Mullen left comments at an AOL journal prior to commiting the murders.
Another blog he kept has been taken down, the screen shot to an entry three days before he killed is here at Technorati where he calls himself Agent Life.

According to OrgegonLive Mullen is being hailed as a hero in some oneline communities.

    In regards to Mullen’s actions.

Too bad he stopped at just two sex offenders.

I am sure he could have, or anyone should have taken out more.

Children are not animals, and are defenseless against large Prey (Sick as they are) and protecting them somtimes means taking the life of those that pose harm to them.

I have 4 children and protecting them is my priority since it was me who helped bring them into the world.

I would kill for them, yours, and all parents if I could.

But then they would be w/o a Provider, Protector, and Parent.

    Quandry?
