The University of Queensland is undertaking an online survey on Fundamentalism.
Note: This survey is looking for participants from Christian and Muslim backgrounds.
It is for the School of History, Philosophy, Religion and Classics at the University of Queensland. Your participation is anonymous and requires only your email. The questions are quite thought provoking.

Thanks for this Bene. I’ve seen other surveys but this was generally more thoughtful than they have been.
I actually spent quite a time on it. I have been out of a fundamentalist group for some years and have many thoughts about it. This was somewhat cathartic allowing a fuller expression of my thoughts at any one time than I have done for some time. I havea coule of close friends to whom I have spoken in some depth, ut it felt good to write as well.
Shalom.

I guess we need to define what fundamentalism is. In my opinion the current definition (if I understand what people are saying) is a much more broader term than it should be. In the past the attitude was the sole criteria now it is: innerancy? fundamentalist Faith in Christ alone for Salvation? fundamentalist Homosexuality? fundamentalist Conservative? fundamentalist I feel this is where surveys like this are ridiculous and serve no purpose in the Body of Christ.
Hey Jan:
I agree. I found the questions well rounded in several disciplines and like you and Messy Christian, catharic.
It will be interesting to see the results.
DH: Why not go and do the survey? I’m sure your concerns would be welcomed.
How can I do the survey if there is a misunderstanding of fundamentalism? They mention in the survey are you an ex fundamenalist Christian or Muslim. I feel I have never been fundamentalist but if I do the survey then I’m basically agreeing with the new definition which I will never agree with. Does that make sense?
