A phony blog called Mels Musings fooled Canada Free Press editor Judy McLeod who thought it was posted by Mel Gibson.
The blogs owner:
gobacktotexas - bragged on the ultraleft Daily Kos blog that he had created the phony Web site, and chortled over the fact that he had fooled McLeod.
Newmax checked it out, as of this posting it is still online.
Wrote the blog forger: ” … I started a satirical blog, Mel’s Musings, to make fun of the retrograde political and religious views of Mel Gibson,” wrote gobacktotexas. “I never thought that there would be many who would think the site was seriously Mel Gibson’s … I posted an article with tongue-in-cheek commentary, from a right-wing tabloid journalist.”
It can be difficult to trace blogspot origins. One could argue if the blog is satirical. Reader beware.

If my information is correct Mel Gibson did some drunk driving in Canada when he was up here filming something. Since that isn’t news, you’d be correct to assume he wasn’t charged, he was let off the hook. Or my info is seriously wrong, but I don’t think so.
And I read this evening he checked into rehab. Man. I wouldn’t want to be him, if he saw that video and saw his dad in himself, that is it’s own form of hell. Talk about eye opening.
I can’t mock him, Gibson is an alcoholic in meltdown with more hell to pay.

People make mistakes. Everyone has opinions about the ways of the world. So what? He is an awesome actor and producer. It matters not to me that he drinks or that he has political or religious opinions. Leave the guy alone.

Why is it such a big deal every time someone says something about jews, more than any other race? So many other races of people have had genocides, unprovoked wars, injustices, etc., etc., yet all we ever hear about are the jews and the holocaust. Get over it! Everyone else have got over their painful history. The Irish got a “SORRY” from PM Tony Blair for the millions that died and suffered under the British tyranny and British induced famine. Do you hear them crying for money or the lands they lost to the British? NO! When you do get out of “rehab” and recount your
millions, please consider how much of your fortune you would have if you had made your true feelings known, when you were starting out in the film industry.
You are a despicable human being, one that doesn’t even have the sense to realize that he has repeatedly bitten the hand that fed him. Whatever you (or your publicity agents) say today, does not even begin to redress your long standing theories about the Jewish people. Apparently the apple does not fall far from the tree. If you haven’t yet distanced yourself from your father’s views of the Holocaust, why should the Jewish community meet with you, or believe anything you have to say now.
Your words are a thinly veiled attempt to admit that you really messed up this time, and you want to cover yourself, so that you can continue to be adored and further your revenue stream.
