Canadian church leaders attending a Winnipeg conference were given Wal-Mart and Tim Horton’s as models on how the church of the future can be and how to be un-church.

About 150 ministers are attending the two day event. US futurist Leonard Sweet is a key speaker.

“People don’t want to be in church,” said Brian Gold of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, an organizer of the two-day leadership seminar. “We have to find out how to do things in a different way.”

Maybe it is the problem of the people not want to be in church rather than the church itself? Maybe it is the preconceived ideas rather than the church itself? just something to think about.

I would be most interested in obtaining complete audio or video of the event. We actually launched an unchurch last year before we heard the word being used openly. Much thanks to anyone who can assist.
