I misunderstood, I thought the Canadian Catholic church was saying no to you because an annulment is required and they were dragging their feet.

I went searching for a point I would call racist, (sorry, couldn’t find it) it was a generalized remark about TO cab drivers not learning english and you were, as you say, passionate. I’m sure many are trying as hard as they can.

No apology required, clear up whatever is necessary.

I was angry (passionate) about Michael Schiavo being married in the Church and bemoaning the annulment process that allows such a thing. sorry if that wasn’t clear.

I’ve also been in remission for a number of years and to be honest, don’t even think much about having lupus anymore (of course, it could come back tomorrow, but I can’t focus on that, right?)

I don’t agree that my posts raising issues of race/culture are necessarily “racist”, although that seems to be the epithet hurled at anyone who raises the issee — which leads to a closed circle of name calling rather than a reasoned debate. I don’t really think the word “racist” means anything anymore, because it is so mis/overused. I like the saying that “a racist is a conservative who’s winning an argument with a liberal…” And my humour, like that of say, Sarah Silverman, is not for everyone, or easily detected by everyone either.

As for the anger, that’s just me. I yell because I care. I don’t really buy the notion of the “nice” Christian. Some people’s anger would be another person’s “passion”, a phrase you used yourself.

I’m not really sure I want to get onboard the Pajamas Media thing, because I’m not convinced it is all that viable. But hey, it would be fun while it lasted.

Sorry to harsh your mellow I really appreciate your sincerity but felt obliged to clear some stuff up.
