Bible Belt Blogger

Frank Lockwood, the Faith and Values reporter for the Lexington Kentucky Herald-Leader paper, has a blog called Bible Belt Blogger.

I found it through one of his articles, about  the Trinity Foundation over at ReligionNewsBlog. Founder Ole Anthony has been dubbed ‘God’s Private Detective’ for his work in exposing televangelist fraud. The Foundation website is way behind, which is a shame.

In one way, the televangelists have done us a favor by showing us how far we’ve strayed, what’s permissible, what kind of activity the church has come to tolerate.  The excesses of corruption by the televangelists should cause us to closely examine ourselves.

Back to Lockwood’s blog.  He’s a one man GetReligion (a group blog of US religious news journalists) and has recently posted on Joel Osteen and wondered about Catholic megachurches.
