It’s the end of summer and I don’t go into the log here at BDBO much, catching outside time more than being online.
Went into the log tonight and noticed a Craiglist entry. Cool. Thank you!
A non-profit needing a blog designer likes the look of BDBO.
So do I.:^)
It is a well deserved pat on the back to Rachel Cunliffe of cre8d-design who made this blog happen and who keeps it running.
Thing is, this blog is professionally designed, and if I had it to do all over again I’d hire cre8d-design again. Paying a professional designer is a gift I gave myself, and this design that has paid off in ways I could not possibly have dreamed of.
I hope the non-profit finds what they are looking for and what they need, and I appreciate BDBO being held up as a standard. cre8d-design has become well known online for a lot more than blogs, Rachel is doing some amazing work, and I’m honoured to be a client. Designers do a great deal more than the ‘look’ and firms like cre8d don’t come cheap.
I have no problem not apologizing for that, I’m not technically minded, and people ask. I also have no problem mentioning I’ve recommended cre8d-design to people needing sites or blogs and they don’t regret their decision either. I think it is wise not to short change yourself at the front end of a site start up if you plan to be around for awhile. A good designer builds a solid technical foundation, and my obvious pride of the BDBO look aside, hiring a competent design firm has saved my online Canadian bacon more than once.:^)
