There is a good post over at Street Prophets which looks at the New York Times article on evangelical panic about the teen drain and culture and religion.
The post that spawned that one is informative - and the comments underneath read like sitting at the edge of a group of friends at the coffee shop and getting to listen in. Some good common sense stuff, a nice blend of voices, many of whom share their church horror stories, what they went through as teens and what they’ve learned about hypocrisy.
Bible Belt blogger says that according to the President of the National Association of Evangelicals (Ted Haggard), The New York Times was duped on the declining teen story.
